Who Are We?
A Pan-African platform for communication, strategic analysis, and awareness-raising, entirely dedicated to promoting renewable energy and sustainable innovations in Africa.

Born from the conviction that the continent possesses immense yet underutilized energy potential, the initiative positions itself as a hub for information, dialogue, and networking on African energy issues.
In a global context marked by the climate emergency and the transformation of energy models, HydroAfricaEnergy aims to support Africa in achieving a controlled, inclusive, and sovereign energy transition.
HydroAfricaEnergy holds a strong and clear belief: Africa should not be merely a consumer market for green technologies designed elsewhere. It must become a producer, innovator, transformer, and exporter of clean energy.
The continent has the natural resources, dynamic youth, and entrepreneurial capacity to chart its own energy trajectory. It is not only about installing solar panels or wind turbines, but about developing local skills, African industries, research centers, and complete value chains.
HydroAfricaEnergy is committed to driving innovation for a sustainable and energy-autonomous Africa.

Our Purpose
Africa possesses exceptional resources:
Some of the highest solar irradiation in the world
Favorable corridors for wind energy
Significant river basins
Strong potential in biomass, geothermal energy, and natural and green hydrogen
Yet, a large part of the population still lacks reliable access to electricity. HydroAfricaEnergy works to bridge this gap by highlighting solutions that are adapted to local realities.

Our Work
HydroAfricaEnergy’s main objectives are to:
Raise awareness of innovative energy projects across the continent
Promote African solutions adapted to local challenges
Connect researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers
Stimulate strategic debate on African energy sovereignty
The platform serves as a channel for information, a tool for advocacy, and a catalyst for opportunities.
