On the occasion of COP30, which is being held in Belém, Brazil, from November 10 to 21, 2025
HydroAfrica Energy calls on world leaders to honor their commitments to the African continent made during previous Conferences of the Parties (COP).
As the world prepares to write a new chapter in the fight against climate change, Africa remains at the heart of the global energy agenda. Rich in renewable resources — solar, hydro, wind, and natural hydrogen — our continent holds the keys to a just, sustainable, and inclusive energy transition.
We strongly emphasize that the promises made to Africa must now turn into concrete actions:
Effective financing for clean energy projects;
Fair transfer of green technologies;
Strengthening of local and regional capacities;
Support for the emergence of African champions in the energy sector.
HydroAfrica Energy reaffirms its belief that the world’s energy future lies in Africa. This continent is not merely a victim of climate change — it is part of the solution.
At COP30, we make a solemn appeal: let promises become real partnerships, and let Africa be recognized as a central pillar of the global energy transition.
HydroAfrica Energy – For a self-reliant, green, and prosperous Africa.
